A little insight into our company’s president might help you understand our firm:

A San Diego native, Chuck Dunnigan lives here with his family and a dog named George. Whether volunteering to read at the local school or coaching the Little League, Chuck regularly “gives back” to the community he’s always called home.

As one of the few remodeling professionals with a college degree you’re likely to meet, Chuck genuinely enjoys the process of helping homeowners to maximize the quality of their living space. To ensure he gets the most out of each experience, Chuck frequently spends quiet time improving his mind by either attending seminars or reading books.

Family time is very important in the Dunnigan clan, and may consist of fishing or some other outdoor sport. Evenings will usually find Chuck resting on the patio with a cold beverage, watching the sun set.

Chuck is Secretary for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry in San Diego. This organization is the hub of professional training for remodelers throughout the region, providing standards of expertise, ethics and ongoing training in all building-related disciplines that are unavailable anywhere else. NARI’s strict certification maintains quality standards for the full-service contractors, design-build firms, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, lenders and other related professionals who work in the remodeling field. As Secretary, Chuck is a member of the group’s Board of Directors.

Dunnwell Construction is an accredited member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau of San Diego. Chuck has never had a complaint filed for any work that he, his staff, or his company have done. Chuck Dunnigan is also an Associate Member of Remodeler’s Advantage, a business education resource exclusively for remodelers.

Since the company’s founding, Chuck has led Dunnwell to win multiple awards for remodeling done in San Diego County.

In addition to his college degree, Chuck brings years of practical and professional experience to every assignment. He insists everyone affiliated with Dunnwell Construction is always current in their training and education, and sets the example by regularly attending a wide range of events specific to the remodeling industry.

Finally, Chuck is a GREAT believer in “giving back” to the community at every level. In addition to his personal contributions, you’ll also find him professionally volunteering time, donating materials, finding ways to recycle and salvage used construction materials, and financially supporting youth organizations.

As president of Dunnwell Construction, Chuck is proud to be leading San Diego County’s finest team of designers, architects, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and a host of other service providers. Each of us share one goal: A passion for superior results when remodeling anything in your home.
